Role and Responsibilities: * Evaluating business processes, anticipating
requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and
implementing solutions. * Prioritizing initiatives based on business
needs and requirements. * Build effective relationships and credibility
with external customers, vendors and within Agility operations and other
functional teams * Extract, validate, & upload shipment data * Analyze
historical data for trends at both the customer and carrier levels *
Invoicing ocean carriers for administration fees and monitoring payment
status * Auditing freight bills and managing full payment with
collections * Recording detailed shipment information and supplier based
revenue * Maintaining records of accounts receivable and accounts
payable * Preparing monthly accruals worksheet and recording travel
budget data * Customer service contact for a variety of issues * Provide
ad hoc analytical services to assist in problem solving and in times of
crisis. * Communicating with internal accounting staff on invoices,
payments, vendor expenses * Maintaining good relationships with carrier
contacts * Ability to read and interpret carrier contracts and rate
information Job Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Business related theme * Competent in Excel,
Quickbooks, Word and Power Point * 3 years experience in a similar
office environment and duties * Ability to multitask * Self-motivated *
Strong interpersonal skills required for vendor relationships *
Dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation * Detail oriented
individual * Ability to make decisions with limited supervision *
Knowledge of international trade and shipping, familiar with Incoterms
Language skills: English is the principal language for this position.
This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and
the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural
environment. Computer skills: Proficiency in the use of Microsoft
Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technical software is required.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to
walk and use hand and eye coordination. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus. Work hours and environment: Normal working
hours for this position are typically Monday Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00
