We are looking for an experienced transportation and logistics professional to join our team in the role of Operations Support. The Operations Support candidate will be responsible for quoting, booking, and invoicing LTL/LCL freight. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented self-starter with a LTL freight or transportation industry background. Key Responsibilities * Provide responsive customer service to phone and email inquiries. * Provides rate quotes and tracking updates to customers efficiently and accurately. * Efficiently handles customer load transactions including data/order entry, tracking/tracing and invoicing. * Complete data entry for shipment including the cost/charge data in operating system for all shipments. * Verifies that quoted against shipments before creating and sending invoices to customers. * Works with AR to handle invoicing discrepancies and customer invoice problems. * Interacts with customers, shippers, receivers, agents and 3rd parties to ensure proper routing of freight, updates, and requests for extra services. * Track all mainland shipments with inland providers to ensure proper routing and timing of shipments. * Provides sales support in setting up customer accounts and TMS access. Education & Experience * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience required. * Previous invoicing and billing experience is preferred. * A minimum of 3 years of LTL/LCL freight, dispatch, rate quotes or customer service experience is a must. * Experience with freight pricing and carrier contracts is a plus.
