The Cycle Counter will be responsible for cycle count investigations, reporting cycle count results as well as processing audits and verifying results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Cycle count and report results of counts.
- Prepare cycle count reporting.
- Communicate cycle count variances to Inventory Control management to ensure an accurate inventory.
- Assist warehouse in investigation of inventory variances found outside of the Cycle Count Program.
- Assist in training counters on the cycle count system and forklift driving.
- Ensure that department and company policies and procedures are followed.
- Review Open Task lists
- Miscellaneous project support (Invoicing & Quality Binder reviews, Metric data collection)
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Inventory or Warehouse experience.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems required. Warehouse management systems experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certified forklift driver (stand up/sit down) or willing to learn.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and shift priorities easily.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division match calculations.
- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or its equivalent required.
- Two or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Certified forklift driver (stand up/sit down) or willing to learn.
- Certified clamp truck driver or willing to learn.
