Center Coordinator monitors the fire alarm and other safety systems. The
Communications Center Coordinator answers airport community calls,
enters work orders into the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS),
and manages requests for work orders. The Communications Center
Coordinator ensures the assignment of work orders to proper contractors,
dispatches technicians as required, and inputs all requisite information
into the EAMS. The Communications Center Coordinator executes procedures
required for obtaining customer feedback, tracking and reporting
results. Duties: * Continuously monitors the status of the fire alarm
system and coordinates response to alarms with AATC staff, contractors,
and emergency services personnel. * Monitors the Building Management
System (BMS) for alarms and coordinates response to alarms with AATC
staff and contractors. * Monitors the emergency phone system for
elevator entrapments and coordinates responses to any entrapments with
AATC staff, contractors, and emergency services personnel as needed. *
Continuously monitors the status and condition of systems and of
maintenance throughout the facility. * Periodically performs assigned
Preventative Maintenance Inspections (i.e., Structural P.M., Fire System
P.M, Security Alarms & Emergency Telephone P.M., Asset Condition &
Validation, etc.). * Notes deficiencies, initiates appropriate
corrective actions, and follows up to insure work is performed promptly
on a satisfactory basis. * Receives telephone and radio communication
from airport tenants, contractors, public, etc., and disseminates
information to the proper AATC staff, contractor, or emergency services
personnel in a timely manner. * Provides notification to the airport
community in the case of system outages or other extenuating
circumstances via multiple media technologies. * Serves as the primary
point of input for Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) operation.
- Enters work request and work orders and insures all required
information is entered accurately. * Completes data entry assignments
for system additions and changes. * Monitors EAMS usage by various
service providers for accuracy and compliance to AATC policies,
procedures and defined best practices. * Runs operational reports and
provides recommendations for improvements through trending and
benchmarking. * Works with service providers to develop process
improvements relative to work flow within the EAMS environment. * Issues
keys per the AATC Key Check Out Policy. * Completes entries into the
Duty Manager's shift log as required. * When appropriate completes AATC
Incident reports. * Receives, records, and releases lost and found items
after normal hours in accordance with AATC's Lost and Found policies and
procedures. * Completes customer follow up surveys, records results, and
generates reports. * Performs related duties as required.. Educational
Requirements and Qualifications: * Required: A high school diploma or
any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that
provides the necessary knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the job
functions. * Preferred: An Associate Degree or two years technical
training with an emphasis on communications or computer science and a
broad understanding of housekeeping techniques, or structural and system
maintenance. Understanding and competency with modern reporting tools
and working knowledge of SQL, MS Access and relational databases, and
Crystal Reports a plus. * One - two years of experience in a clerical
administrative, or public relations capacity, or satisfactory evidence
of appropriate education, training, or experience. * Customer service
experience, perferably six months experience in a call center
environment. Success Characteristics: * Strong interpersonal skills,
ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
is essential. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests to
ensure timely response to the users. * Excellent communication and
written skills. * Strong problem solving and creative skills and the
ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate
and timely analysis. * High level of integrity and dependability with a
strong sense of urgency, accountability and results-orientation. This
