Qualifications
- Typically 7 years of avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting on individual or aircraft status.
- Own a basic set of hand tools and can demonstrate proper tool inventory and control.
- Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
- Must be able to work unscheduled overtime , including non-scheduled workdays and holidays.
- Must be able to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge , if applicable.
- A Certification required if mandated by the customer (Commercial Aircraft); A Certification, P Certification, or A &P Certificate also acceptable.
- Hold a GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate.
- Experience working on corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft.
- Basic PC skills.
