INVESTMENT CONSULTANT – BOSTON, MA
BAY STATE SEARCH HAS PARTNERED WITH A REPUTABLE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT FIRM SEEKING AN INVESTMENT CONSULTANT TO JOIN THEIR TEAM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
· Develop client relationships, including expanding existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships
· Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls
· Assist in the development and implementation of a territory sales plan
· Approach interactions as a consultant, starting with client needs and effectively leveraging internal resources needed to meet those needs, including delivering insight-based education, coaching, and portfolio construction consultations
· Simplify the complex investment universe through portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise
· Develop and execute on a data-driven client segmentation model, including the consistent profiling of clients, timely and accurate memorializing of all interactions into the firm’s CRM system, and successful allocation of resources
· Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure maximum business efficiency and effective resource allocation across service offerings and firms
· Travel as needed within territory to conduct meetings with clients, assist with client events, and attend industry conferences
WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
· Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in financial services
· Must hold an active FINRA Series 7, Series 6, Series 65, and/or and 63 license.
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Consultative, client first approach, delivering solutions, not products, to meet client needs and drive results
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
