Drayage Operations Coordinator - Long Beach

Cargomatic is seeking a Drayage Operations Coordinator to join our team in Long Beach! You will collaborate with teams across the Cargomatic network to ensure all drayage operations are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in time management, organization, attention to detail, communication, and customer service. The right candidate will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" team environment, is a creative and analytical problem solver, and can thrive in a fast-paced, start-up culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drayage dispatch via company drivers and third parties
• Transportation brokering
• Tracking and tracing (port availability, delivery status, etc.)
• Customer service and troubleshooting
• Manage terminal websites 
• Collecting and maintaining load documents (POD, EIR, DO, etc.)
• Proactive approach to customer service and carrier communications
• Achieve daily goals while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 1 year of drayage operations experience
• Demonstrable skills in customer support and satisfaction
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new concepts and technology
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and prioritize daily tasks
