  • Responsibilities

    WR is seeking a Lead Logistics Analyst to perform responsibilities of physical inventory, material coordinating and handling, storing, packaging, and disposition of material. This person will be working in collaboration with WR’s Government Property Management Team across the organization.

     

    Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Performs physical inventory efforts with impeccable accuracy across the organization.
    • Works with Projects providing research and resolution support for noted inventory discrepancies Preparing reports and metrics for management.
    • Creates reports in excel for data calls as well as tracking material-related information.
    • Performs in depth analysis of database records.
    • Supports inventory Database development and testing.
    • Supports various Projects and Programs with surge support with Logistics and Material requirements.
    • Provides support for inventory disposition and tracking to include, but not limited to:
      • Ensuring proper completion of inventory database records
      • Providing updates for other internal material management trackers

       

    • Develops an understanding of internal and external logistics requirements.
    • Researches various databases to establish material locations, material sources, and disposition.
    • Oversees federal stock system research programs to validate manufacturer, part number, national stock number (NSN), etc.
    • Coordinates and performs material management activities related to receipt, storage, packaging, and disposition.
    • Supports and mentor’s junior personnel through experience and performance excellence.

     

     

    Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:  

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Preferred Associates Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.

    • Six (6)+ years of experience OR Four (4)+ years of experience with degree in:

    • Logistical tracking

    • Reporting

    • Record keeping

    • Warehousing

    • Material transfer

    • Issuance

    • Disposition of Government property to include supervisory or warehouse lead.

    • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and Access.

    • Ability to read and interpret electronic inventory records.

    • Write reports and email correspondence in a clear and professional manner.

    • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

    • Needs to be details-oriented, accurate, and a quick learner who can be flexible enough to support multiple tasks with changing priorities.

    • Perform work within an office and warehousing environment.

    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, although not a frequent requirement.
