Central Transport Inc., one of nation's most trusted and technologically advanced LTL distribution service, is presently seeking out Operations Supervisor candidates for our terminal located in Blaine, MN. THE SHIFT TIME FOR THIS POSITION IS 3:00AM - 1:00PM T-SAT.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Overseeing the inbound dock for your designated section of the terminal

o This includes the processes of unloading, managing forklift traffic, and organization of freight.

· Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel

· Utilizing your independent judgement to determine how much labor will be needed to unload/build freight following a designated schedule

· Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers

· Provide leadership and accountability to these teams of drivers, dock workers and dock hand.

· Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded.

· Monitor hours and overtime.

· Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.

· Ensure company operational model compliance.

· Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers

The ideal candidate will have:

•Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment

•Strong leadership qualities

•Desire to surround customer with excellence in service

•High aptitude for technology

•The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•An associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
