Location: Carrollton, TX Responsibilities and Key Points Related to the Position: * Provides exceptional customer service by developing good working relationships with carries and drivers * Proactively searches for potential loads through load boards to cover available drivers/trucks * Negotiates and determines the rate(s) to be paid by the broker(s) * Books loads with broker(s) that meet the requirements set by the company * Monitors and tracks all booked freight and coordinates status with brokers * Communicates changes in load status to driver/broker and serves as an intermediary between the drivers and the brokers to assist in the resolution of any issues * Provides timely escalation of issues to management * Knowledgeable of multi-state geography, assist drivers with directions, instructions, mileage information * Understands driver Hours of Service for planning purposes, to ensure safe and legal load assignments to drivers while maximizing driver hours of service Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * 1

• 2 years of customer service experience is required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Detail oriented with the ability to multi task and prioritize assignments * Ability to successfully support a team, foster team work, sharing of responsibilities * Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook * Preference will be given to those with transportation, logistics, and dispatching experience Physical Demands: * Office environment * Sitting for long periods Education / Training: * High school diploma * Industry related software and experience a plus Only qualified applicants need apply.
