    YOUR NEW OPPORTUNITY

     

    Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out van fit out and maintenance of our fleet vehicles including the associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner, together with:

     

    • Investigate, develop and conduct RAA vehicle modifications and fit outs
    • Provide timely and professional maintenance, servicing and repair of RAA owned vehicles
    • Deliver exceptional and professional service to members and internal/external customers by identifying, responding to and satisfying their needs promptly
    • Development of Apprentices through coaching, role modelling and knowledge sharing
    • Strong customer focus whilst meeting corporate objectives and complying with all relevant acts, guidelines, work practices and RAA quality standards
    • Contribute to the consistent achievement of end-to-end Road Service quality targets and improvements in reliability.

     

     

    ABOUT YOU

     

    Your excellent organisational skills and capacity to plan and be proactive will see you succeed in this role, as will your ability to work under limited supervision

     

    • An automotive Mechanical Trade Certificate
    • South Australian light vehicle licence
    • Experience and ability to carry out van fit out work, van building and fabrication work, and competent in electric and gas welding
    • Understanding of Modern automotive vehicle technology, diagnostics and roadside repair
    • Experience in automotive electrical wiring and installation of electrical accessories to motor vehicles.
