  • Responsibilities

    This is a temporary position involving various administrative duties that permits exposure to the student’s field of study &/or provides experience that is a useful addition to the student’s education & meaningful preparation for future professional employment.

    Under general supervision, this student assists supervisor with the following:

    • Assists with developing, coordinating & implementing special projects & events related to recruitment
    • Assists with development of recruitment strategies for ODOT that promotes workforce diversity & inclusion
    • Gathers relevant ODOT data & compile reports using a computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
    • Creates recruitment articles & other recruitment materials of interest to ODOT workforce using a computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
    • Communicates information about recruitment activities & programs through written & verbal correspondence using a computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
    • Assists in development of community partner relationships that support our recruitment efforts
    • Assists in monitoring agency–wide diversity recruitment plan
    • Identifies proven recruitment methods in relation to sourcing top talent
    • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and in good academic standing

  • Compensation
    The rate of pay is based upon the student's academic status - Freshman (1st Year) $8.50 - $11.72 - Sophomore (2nd Year): $9.00 -$12.22 - Junior (3rd Year) $9.50-$13.72 - Senior: $9.75 - $14.72 Graduate or Law School: - 1st year $10.00-$15.66 - 2nd year $10.25-$16.41 - 3rd year $10.50-$17.91
