JOB TITLE: TOOL ROOM CLERK (ATTENDANT)

CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME JOB WITH BENEFITS (1ST SHIFT)

REPORTS TO: TOOL ROOM MANAGER DEPARTMENT: NON-PRODUCTION (TOOL ROOM)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the inventory control of items maintained in the tool room. Maintains the tool room in a neat and orderly fashion to make sure that company property is clean and well maintained. Typical work hours are from 7:30am to 4:00pm. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issues tools and supplies to production personnel using a company computer system
• Returns tooling to assigned tool room location
• Re-stocks tools and supplies as needed
• Periodically, as scheduled, conduct inventory count of workstations or toolboxes
• Conducts cycle counts of inventory to limit or correct any discrepancies or deficiencies
• Keep accurate records for our computerized inventory system
• Additional functions are delegated by the Tool Room Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• General computer experience is required

• Mechanical aptitude required.

• Typing experience with knowledge of 10 key is a plus

• Ability to work under pressure and under strict deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of automotive parts is a plus

• Position may require 1+ Saturday a month of overtime

MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight
• Climb up and down a ladder
• Sit, stand stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and or crawl
• Twist or turn in confined spaces
