    Specialist - Corporate Sales Development -Requisition #: 270647 -New York City, NY The Specialist - Corporate Sales Development role based in the NY office is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate sales programs and strategies designed to maximize the revenue and market share performance for contracted accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison between the front-line sales team and the various commercial departments in support of all corporate sales program related matters. In addition, the Specialist will identify opportunities to increase revenues, shift market share, reduce costs, and improve business processes. Also included in this role are financial analysis of program effectiveness, on-going performance reporting, and the preparation of executive summaries and formal presentations. This role will foster strong relationships with our alliance and codeshare partners with the goal of developing both strategic and tactical plans aimed at maximizing revenue in the corporate sales channels. This role will also be responsible for making customer presentations with the front-line sales team on an ad-hoc basis. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. This position is based in New York, NY. Job Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in a business or analytical discipline and 3+ years equivalent work experience is preferred. MBA is preferred but not required. -General knowledge of Delta's markets and competitive market position, sales strategies, programs, processes, tools and infrastructure is highly desirable; travel industry sales/marketing experience is a plus. -Should be solution-oriented, multi-task capable, and have demonstrated the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment. -Demonstrates initiative and self directs work. -Should possess strong analytical and computer skills, sound organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to make sound business decisions. -Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point are required. -Knowledge of PRISM and Hyperion/BRIO skills along with working knowledge of Revenue Pipeline and MIDT tables in enterprise warehouse highly desirable. -Experience with independently preparing analytical power point presentations for use by senior leadership. -This position requires 5-7 overnight business trips per year.
