Inspector, for Directorate of Public Works, Operations and Maintenance

the incumbent will perform but not limited to the following duties: *
Interpret specifications to be familiar with features of assigned
projects related to provisions of contracts. * Create regular inspection
on work in progress, to clarify the contract documents. * Confer with
the contractor on accepting and/or rejecting materials not in
conformance with specifications. * Confer changes with contractors on
construction procedures in accordance with guidelines. * Maintain
continuous contact with contractors to coordinate objectives. * Analysis
plans prior to actual construction in order to become familiar with the
technical aspects of the project. * Evaluate features of the work from
the field construction view-point meets the mission. * Inform supervisor
on the status of work to prevent major problems and/or deficiencies. *
Assist in making on-the-spot decisions to avoid delays in construction.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively
higher level graduate education leading to such a degree directly
related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A
combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this
position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at
least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your
total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of
completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two
