Job Summary The Compensation Services team has a new opportunity for a human resources professional with strong analytical and communications skills to join our team as a Compensation Analyst in support of Dominion Energys business units and their employees. The successful candidate will need to be self-driven and eager to learn the compensation policies, programs and systems and will be required to obtain their Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation. This career/intermediate level position will work closely with assigned Business HR groups and the business unit leadership in the development, implementation and administration of corporate and business unit compensation programs. The selected candidate will work with all levels of leadership and interface with Dominion employees, as required for the creation of new jobs or modifications to existing jobs and provide policy interpretation. Specific responsibilities will include: Design and administer Dominion Energy compensation programs and policies, including: annual merit, incentive and equity based pay programs, and supplemental and differential pay policies, including interaction with IT on systems management. Conduct market pricing studies to determine appropriate pay ranges for jobs within the Company. Support assigned Field HR and customer groups in the implementation and administration of business unit specific base, supplemental and incentive compensation programs and policies, including analytical, research, training, and communications. Serves as an advisor with leadership and employees providing information to ensure effective, consistent, equitable and legally compliant compensation programs, policies and procedures. Foster teamwork and open communications within our HR business communities Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience - At least 3+ years of breadth and depth of HR knowledge and experience, with specific experience with compensation programs and policies preferred. - Undergraduate or advanced degree in HR or business-related discipline or equivalent preferred. - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or classes towards certification preferred. - Knowledge of company organizational structure. - Knowledge of company policies, programs and information systems (SAP) and relevant government regulations. - Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills. - Analytical and problem solving skills. - Program and project management skills. - Proficient personal computer skills and in depth knowledge of Microsoft applications Education Requirements Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Disciplines: Business, Human Resources, Liberal Arts Working Conditions Office Work Environment 76 -100% Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
