Job Summary - Identifies potential suppliers. - Solicits quotes, technical documentation, and relevant terms and conditions. - Obtains standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost, with consideration to quality, reliability, and need. - Negotiates, awards, and implements contracts and purchase orders. - Communicates with field and project personnel, to evaluate compliance with purchase contracts. - Resolves problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and/or adjustments.
