Job Summary The Associate Sourcing Specialist position performs sourcing assignments to develop work knowledge, skills and abilities, requiring application of policies, procedures, techniques and other criteria to carry out aspects of the job. This role identifies potential suppliers, solicits quotes and technical documentation and relevant terms and conditions; obtains standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost with consideration to quality, reliability and need; negotiates, awards and implements contracts and purchase orders; communicates with field and project personnel to evaluate compliance with purchase contracts; and resolves problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues and invoice discrepancies and/or adjustments. This position supports the Gas Delivery Business Units for Dominion East Ohio Gas and Dominion Hope as part of a team of materials and services procurement professionals. This is an entry-level position in a job series. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience - 0-2 years of related experience - General knowledge of business and contract law. - General knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. - General knowledge of natural gas materials/services contracts and delivery and fulfillment processes. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint software. - SAP knowledge a plus. - Excellent verbal/writing/presentation; - Effective influence, persuasion and negotiation; - Analysis; - Priority management; - Project management; - Computer proficiency and software skills especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint; - Forecasting and trend analysis; - Value/cost analysis; - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Apply analytical abilities to diverse issues; - Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; - Apply acquired knowledge and skills; - Use sound business judgment; - Anticipate, understand and respond to customer needs Education Requirements Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Business Working Conditions Office Work Environment 76 -100% Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
