Job Summary Dominion Energys Innsbrook Technical Center is seeking a 2019 summer intern to support the Nuclear Engineering Subsequent License Renewal Project Controls staff with activities, including but not limited to: - Assist in the development, implementation and coordination of controls for nuclear power station construction projects that could include cost, contract administration, scheduling and estimating. - Support the development and maintenance of the cost plans for power station construction projects based on approved estimates and schedules. - Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure project is proceeding on schedule and within budget. - Support the preparation and analyzing of the monthly budget variance reports for management. - Other projects / assignments to obtain well rounded experience Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Good general computer skills including proficiency with using Microsoft Office products is desired. - Must have a personal commitment to all aspects of workplace safety. - Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player. - Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Education Requirements - Must be enrolled in a Business, Finance or Economics program at a four year college or university - Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. - Must have an anticipated graduation date of May 2021 Working Conditions Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
