Job Summary Dominion Energys Innsbrook Technical Center is seeking a 2019 summer intern to support the Nuclear Engineering Subsequent License Renewal Project Controls staff with activities, including but not limited to: - Assist in the development, implementation and coordination of controls for nuclear power station construction projects that could include cost, contract administration, scheduling and estimating. - Support the development and maintenance of the cost plans for power station construction projects based on approved estimates and schedules. - Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure project is proceeding on schedule and within budget. - Support the preparation and analyzing of the monthly budget variance reports for management. - Other projects / assignments to obtain well rounded experience Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Good general computer skills including proficiency with using Microsoft Office products is desired. - Must have a personal commitment to all aspects of workplace safety. - Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player. - Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
