An Engineering Intern is assist in various areas of Power Production and Delivery in AECCs Engineering department and will report to the AECC headquarters in Little Rock. Were looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECCs mission. Responsibilities ResponsibilitiesAssist with development of protection relay upgrade design and HMI development for power plant control systemsOrganize power plant drawing classification Assist with power plant performance correction calculationsPerform field work at various AECC facilitiesAssist with retrofit of power plant piping designAssist engineering staff in the performance of their duties Minimum Qualifications Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPursuing a degree in Engineering or related field.Valid state drivers licenseTechnologically adept and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skillsExceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem solving skills. Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Able to work well in somewhat challenging weather conditions to support plant testing activities Ready to begin your career with or AECC?
