Job Description

• Assure timely shipment of product for external subcontracted processing including creation of DJOB in Oracle and generating PO releases.
• Trouble shoot and resolve issues preventing DJOB creation or PO release.
• Ensure outbound containers have appropriate PO releases and material identification routings.
• Review product staged for shipment and verify appropriateness of next operation and source by referencing the routing traveler and open PO status per Oracle.
• Determine proper source for processing based on Oracle data and Routing traveler documentation
• Enter receipts into Oracle based on packing slips for external processing, direct and MRO materials
• Investigate discrepancies found in performing receipting function and work with PC and Purchasing to resolve.
• Review and disposition discrepancies per Match and Hold Report.
• Obtain POD as needed or advise A/P of supplier invoice errors.
• Work with PC and Purchasing to determine corrections needed to align receipts to actual material received.
• Provide backup to P & IC Specialist during absences and vacations.
• Timely and accurately enter timecards into Oracle.
• Identify missing cards and obtain as needed.
• Support Department function when Shipping / Receiving Supervisor is absent.
• Coordinate and schedule carriers for inbound and outbound materials and product.
• Ensure critical tasks are assigned and to available associates and completed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIECE:

• 2-5 years SHIPPING AND RECEIVING experience in Manufacturing Operations
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and team working
• Very proficient with Excel and data entry key-boarding accuracy and efficiency
•  Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
• High school diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or post-secondary degree or completed class work if in-process
• Experience transacting in ORACLE EBS or similar materials management system
• Prior experience working with CARRIERS and related documents
• Knowledge of problem solving, Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques
