Job Description

Perform Analyst duties for Ocean Cargo Pricing in The Americas with vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support in conjunction with the Global Ocean Cargo Group(s). Maintain adherence to The Company’s policy and procedures while displaying and communicating The Company’s goals and culture.

Qualifications

• College graduate or actively involved in securing degree
• 2+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience(Preferred)
• Ocean Cargo knowledge including pricing, processes and operations (Preferred)
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills and time management 
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate RFQs:

• Communicate with bid owners and administer the collective bid strategy
• Perform data analysis
• Identify opportunities, risks, and challenges
• Manage multiple RFQs at one time

RFQ Execution:

• Convert customer RFQ formats using excel formulas
• Insert / integrate targeted pricing
• Communicate with the branches, regional pricing teams, sales team and account management team.
• Manage responses
• Understand and audit regional responses
• Maintain communication per Document retention policy

General Support:

• Update RFQ Pricing Tool in a timely manner
• Maintain RFQ tools
• Development of reports
• Projects supporting Americas’ ocean initiatives.
