Job Description
DISTRICT ROLE
· Take direction from District Business Operations Manager and District Manager
· Coordinate with local management to identify strategic opportunities to improve quality (efficiency, accuracy, automation), trade compliance, employee and customer experiences, and profitability through the pursuit of globally consistent, scalable process improvements
· Deliver improved processes, visibility to performance, data governance, and exception management as drivers of District Strategy
· In coordination with Service Provider Management, continue to improve data collection / automation in pursuit of timely, accurate data and reduction in cost with a focus on profitability
· Develop value-add technology solutions for operations, pricing, invoicing, auditing and collecting in support of District Strategy
· Receive and roll out new operating systems and related tools – and provide meaningful feedback
· Collaborate with district Service Provider Manager to develop solutions to improve service provider partnerships, data quality and reporting
· Work with regional and corporate EDI teams in support of district EDI projects
· Collaborate with other district, regional, and global resources to cultivate and build consistency in all technology solutions
· Alongside District Analyst, deliver reporting and automation to the field in support of GBO initiatives and District Strategy
· Supports Enterprise Data & Analytics and Geo Solutions Developments
· Supports new tool deployments and training, as needed
· Owns data analytics and technology solutions development
o Prioritizes projects, in conjunction with district efforts to ensure proper prioritization and timely completion
o Data analytics and solution requests built for and deployed to the district
o Solutions developed using approved tools, technologies and environments

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE:
· Understanding of Expeditors systems and procedures
· Local knowledge of people, processes, systems and tools
· Understanding of Process Management Fundamentals
SKILLS:
· Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate and concisely obtain positive results
· Demonstrates success in managing a technical project beginning-to-end
· Strong Strategic and Analytic Skills
· Experienced with various business intelligence tools such as: Inetsoft, Power BI, Oracle BI or Tableau desired
· Some experience with various data science tools such as: R, Python, SPSS or SAS desired
· Some experience with development languages such as: SQL, ASP.net, Java JavaScript, C# or VB desired

· Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· 3-5 years of operational / system knowledge preferred
