    Job Description

    Our in-house Corporate Travel Agency is in search of a full time, entry-level corporate travel agent. You are responsible for trip quotes, airline ticket bookings, hotel reservations and other phases of business travel. The agent in this position will contribute to the departments overall customer service and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will display proficiency with Sabre GDS and SAP Concur, excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess exceptional customer service and a desire to take the lead on department administrative projects.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Guide travelers to make the best financial trip choices for the company and implement company standards
    • Calculate trip quotes that meet a travelers’ authorized budget
    • Utilize company discounts and traveler credits
    • Arrange flight, hotel, and car reservations
    • Accurately price flights, store fares, issue tickets and invoices using programmed GDS formats
    • Provide essential advice regarding international travel entry requirements, documents and health guidelines
    • Correctly perform ticket changes or refunds with solid attention to detail
    • Manage and action agency and personal GDS queues
    • Contribute to agency administrative tasks – file daily invoices, respond to emails in shared in-box, self-assign requests, format and manage department newsletters and internal website content.
    • Resolve traveler Concur issues – profile, searches and results.
    • Fulfill company required training and add industry or desk-side training accordingly
    • Preserve traveler personal and trip confidentiality
    • Actively seek opportunities to further Travel industry processes, procedures and education
    • Provide consultative services to travelers on routings, travel and entry documents and overall planning
    • Responsible and accountable with decisions

    TRAMS

    • Recognize Sabre formats and how they translate in back office reporting

    Concur

    • Manage Requests
    • Concur – Admin role – user administration, onboarding, vendor management, standard adherence
    • Concur – Traveler role - conduct travel searches to validate company configurations, discounts, and preferred vendors

    Core

    • Comprehend Compleat mid-office functions and how they are constructed to benefit the company
    • Interpret Compleat QC messages and respond accordingly

    Education, Experience & Certification

    • College degree preferred
    • Candidates with 2 years’ customer service, hospitality or related industry experience considered
    • Sabre experience preferred – **** enthusiasm to learn Sabre Red 360 – standard formats for air-car-hotel searches, decode/encode, discern airlines and their routes/hubs
    • Comprehend the stages of bookings in GDS – creation, QC, invoice, email, changes

    Additional Information

    Job Location: This position will be required to sit in the greater Seattle, WA area, which can include Seattle, Bellevue, Lynnwood or Federal Way. This position is not eligible for work from home, for relocation reimbursement or for Employment Visa assistance.

    Expected Salary : $55-65,000
