Job Description

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Plan capacity for domestic transportation
• Make bookings with truck carriers
• Work with operations team to forecast capacity needs
• Work with operations staff to ensure all outbound loading is completed timely.
• Communicate exceptions to Key Performance indicators, with root cause analysis (CAPA)
• Communicate with management regularly regarding productivity and performance
• Ensure our services are set up to exceed customer expectations
• Ensure superior financial results through maximizing profitability of the outbound operations
• Learn and follow industry regulatory compliance requirements (IATA, TSA, FMC, CBP)
• Troubleshoot and problem solve as daily needs arise.

• Experience with Domestic OTR Carrier Negotiations
• Must be proficient in excel
• 4 year college degree or equivalent industry experience
• Demand Planning or Resource planning experience preferred
• Understanding of Process Management fundamentals (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
