    MATERIALS MANAGER - SUPPLY CHAIN

     

    Duties will include, but not be limited to the following: 

    • Development and management of all processes and employees related to Supply Chain, from incoming Supplier shipments, through inventory management and material handling to finished product exit
    • Inventory Management including physical inventory and cycle counting, inventory reduction strategies, increasing inventory turns, etc.
    • New Product Development (NPD) and product life cycle management through the Supply Chain
    • Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly, and monthly plans for the Metrology supply chain function
    • Site Sales and Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process
    • Engage with facility staff and functional leaders to drive on time service and working capital improvements
    • Develop Supply Chain processes and systems driving top level organizational objectives and deliverables through the organization
    • Monthly cadence review with FP&A and sales team leaders to adjust to market conditions as applicable

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

     

     

    • Ability to identify employees’ strengths and limitation

    • Material and information flow (demand variation and forecasting,

    • Managing supplier relationships)

    • PFEP, choosing correct replenishment process

    • Demonstrated proficiency in PDCA process (Action Plan – Do, RCCM – check function)

    • Focus on self-development, knowledge/learning

    • Having influence with peers to understand and achieve alignment and common goal(s)

    • Develop and manage KPIs and metrics that align with higher-level objectives

    • Risk awareness and mitigation

    Required Skills

    • BS Degree in Business Studies or Engineering or related subject
    • Masters or Advanced Degree Preferred
    • Professional certification – APICS or CSCMP (Ex – CSCP, CPPM), Logistics cert); Broker’s license preferred
    • PMP Certification
    • 5+ years supervisory experience
    • Experience with contract reviews and negotiations
    • 5+ years relevant supply chain work experience, including managing Raw and WIP materials
    • Experience with electronic components
    • Experience of successfully managing 1000+ SKUs
    • Successfully managed X load shipments; $3M logistics spend with 10+ carriers (logistics),
    • Exposure to Lean and/or mfg. environment preferred including creating flow through mixed-model shared resources, implementation of tugger routes, warehouse/plant layout optimization, creating standard work, metrics and KPI's
