JOB SUMMARY: This position will research, compile, and analyze financial and operational information supporting the Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Financial Planning & Analysis functions. Responsibilities will involve supporting senior management business decisions through financial and business analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with analysis and review of the organization's financial performance by collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial and statistical data.

• Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing-up data.

• Create and develop reports and presentations on financial performance.

• Catalogue inbound M&A leads from various channels, including investment banks; maintain a database of key attributes of each opportunity; provide management reports on monthly inbound lead trends.

• Manage investor relations projects such as competitor earnings release analysis, analyst quarterly earnings estimates compilation for JBHT, and other IR-related projects as assigned by management.

• Analyzing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management.

• Analyze market and internal data to identify trends/opportunities .

• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business Finance, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training in a related field; or 1-3 years of related experience.

• Ability to adapt

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience in SQL

• Interest in learning new technologies/software applications

• Knowledge of Financial Systems

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel and Access

• May have the ability to travel.

• Bachelors: Business Administration/Management (Required), Bachelors: Finance (Required), Bachelors: Supply Chain Management (Required), GED (Required), High School (Required)
