  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Perform inspection and verification of flight component installations and operational functional testing of aircraft systems.
    • Inspect and verify troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults.
    • Document identified faulty components and discrepancies.
    • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and ensure all maintenance and modifications meet delivery standards.
    • Support documentation of operational or testing issues found on deliverable products.
    • Verify the accuracy of work performed, including self-inspections.
    • Assist in performing system and subsystem pre-delivery and maintenance inspections.
    • Participate in the planning and execution of assignments to meet a broad range of objectives.
    • Schedule and arrange own work activities with guidance from a lead or supervisor.
    • Create and maintain non-conformance records with minimal supervision.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

    • Minimum of 3 years of aerospace industry experience.
    • At least 3 years of quality inspection and/or auditing experience.
    • 3+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production systems.
    • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Willingness and ability to work any shift, including weekends.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience)

    • FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License.
    • 3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk prevention experience.
    • 3+ years of experience on the 787 Program.
    • 2+ years of team leadership (formal or informal).
    • Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and Boeing BAC specifications.
    • Skilled in generating all forms of NCRs and EPDs (e.g., NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • 3+ years of flight line operations experience.
