Job Description
Drive supplier improvement to meet QDCFTSR targets; define sourcing
strategies and technical and commercial requirements for new components on truck
programs; own segment P&L by leading negotiations, quote strategies, and cost-
reduction roadmaps; champion post-SOP product and process changes and coordinate
ECNs, APQP/PPAP, and cross-functional launch support; monitor and mitigate supply
risk with the Supply Network Resiliency team via capacity studies, dual sourcing,
localization, and recovery plans; analyze supplier capacity and constraints to preempt
plant impacts and aftermarket shortages; scout, benchmark, and qualify new partners
through research and trade-show engagement; leverage global partners to create
purchasing synergies on specifications, tooling, and volume bundling; set cost targets and
should-cost models, track commodity indices and raw-material trends, prepare executive-
ready sourcing recommendations; maintain supplier dashboards and scorecards, drive
corrective actions, and report KPI progress against timing and profitability objectives.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration and two
years of experience.
