Lula seeking a highly creative and professional Graphic Designer to develop a wide range. You will need to be adept at using design to convey stories, visualize concepts, and bringing complex ideas to life.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment, show superior visual storytelling skills, be able to work across mediums (digital and print) and possess the right temperament to take constructive feedback from others.

The role also requires an entrepreneurial and positive mindset; and have a constant curiosity on how to evolve the design aesthetic for the company. We are looking for someone who doesn’t have a style but instead is capable of constantly bringing fresh visual ideas to the table.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually compelling and emotionally engaging designs in the form of:
• Proposals and presentations (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Social and digital graphics for multiple platforms
• Brochures and reports
• Print and digital advertisement
• Branding for visual identities
• Produce final design solutions including logos, short-form animations, photo composites & edits, infographics, and app/website interfaces
• Express concepts by constructing drafts, storyboards and wireframes
• Offer input into creative brainstorms and share ideas during team meetings
• Speak confidently about designs and creative solutions
• Communicate with the team to receive and use feedback to improve work while working autonomously to execute a vision
• Learn skills to support specialized tasks and the evolving landscape of digital media

• 1-2 years of design experience (including internships)
• Highly creative & sharp eye for visual detail; understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition
• BA or BFA in Graphic Design, and/or a strong portfolio showcasing your creative thinking process as well as visually compelling and emotionally engaging design work
• Ability to present work and articulate design rationale
• Supreme attention to detail
• Aptitude for problem-solving
• Consistency in quality regardless of project size
• Motivation to maintain and improve design standards
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint)
• Evidence of niche skills including animation/motion & photo retouching
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Keen ability to take criticism and incorporate feedback to improve designs
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude to pursue atypical ideas that inspire action
