  • Responsibilities

    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing overall process support to the Talent Acquisition process through pre and post-hire activities. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will facilitate a variety of recruitment activities for assigned departments.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Requisition approval in our Applicant Tracking System (SilkRoad)

    Editing and posting positions to external resources such as job boards, social networking sites, etc.

    Recruit for selected positions

    • Candidate sourcing and screening
    • Schedule phone and in-person interviews. Arrange candidate travel, transportation and accommodation as needed.
    • Coordinate feedback and facilitate candidate selection
    • Create and route offer approval requests
    • Create offer letters
    • Submit requests for pre-employment background checks and drug screens

    Basic metric reporting

    Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects

    Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills

    • Passion for “closing”
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
    • Experience with one or more Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Ability to work with remote team members

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 6-18 months recruiting experience
    • Knowledge and experience in high volume recruiting environments
    • Distribution, logistics, supply chain, delivery services and/or transportation experience a plus
    • Experience with internet sourcing and resume mining
