ROV Pilot Technician I # of openings: 1 Location: Offshore Department: Travel: Relocation Assistance: Job Type: Career Level: Experienced (Entry-Level) Education Level: High School Diploma Offshore Licenses: Experience: Description POSITION: ROV Pilot Technician 1 REPORTS TO: Supervisor REGION: Americas GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Minimum 1 years of offshore ROV / Trenching experience Offshore operation, data recording, maintenance and repair or the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill system and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform ROV operations as instructed and in accordance with approved procedures and Canyon QHSE Policy and Objectives Stock-taking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables. Maintain system and project records (e.g. inventory, weekly reports, dive logs, video logs, etc under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor. To conduct and maintain records of maintenance in compliance with Canyon Offshore Maintenance System. To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe. To carry out other tasks as delegated by Canyon Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude. To apply safe work ethics. COMPETENCIES: Shall meet IMCA competence criteria by satisfactorily completing assessment as a Pilot/Technician Grade 1 with a nominal minimum of 1 years offshore experience and 100 hours piloting. Shall possess extensive knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment. Shall possess current HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and passport.
