School Year Intern, Full Stack Developer **JOB SUMMARY: **The Intern,
Full Stack Developer will have the unique opportunity to learn how to
work as a professional software engineer and jump-start your career with
valuable experience and impressive job responsibilities. As an Intern at
Hub Group, you'll work with our engineering team developing the
front-end of mobile and internal/external user interfaces. You will
contribute to all stages of development, from feature specification, to
programming and testing, to bug fixes and long-term maintenance. You'll
work both independently on tasks as well as alongside other front-end
engineers, full-stack developers, and UI/UX designers, using Javascript,
HTML, CSS, Sass, jQuery, Github for source control, and JIRA for issue
management. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ** * Assist with business
requirements (functional and technical) to ensure the solution conforms
to the requirements and delivers on schedule. * Assist with the
definition and development and execution of unit and integration testing
scenarios. * Work with other developers, UI/UX designers, and product
managers to develop modern sites. * Participate in, and contribute to
brainstorms and planners for technical projects. * Assist with
implementation of various APIs, SDKs, and toolsets. * Assist in support
(e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring,
testing, troubleshooting). * Duties, responsibilities and activities may
be assigned or changed from time to time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *
Pursuing a 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a
related field. * Knowledge of OO principles and ability to work with a
large object-oriented Javascript codebase. * A good eye for UI/UX
design, and a solid understanding of responsive design. * Experience
with jQuery, nodejs, angularjs, and Git is preferred, but not required.
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies/frameworks independently.
- Positive attitude, self-starter with strong entrepreneurial spirit. *
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical
requirements in a way all can understand. * Self-managed and motivated
to work in an independent environment. * Excellent interpersonal skills,
organized and detail oriented This position is aschool year internship
starting in September 2018 and ending in May 2019. Allapplicants must be
able to work 20 hours a week. Hub Group is flexible on hoursand days per
