The assignment will begin May 2nd and run through the end of August. This individual will perform under the direction of the Assistant to the City Manager and be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties in support of the daily operations of the City. The successful individual will work assigned projects and provide administrative support in the office. A Bachelors Degree in public administration or a related field is required. Students in a Masters Degree program are encouraged to apply. In addition, a valid State of Michigan Drivers license is necessary in order to travel to various locations within the City. An interest in a career in general municipal management is helpful with some experienced preferred. The pay for this position is $11.50 per hour with an average of 40 hours per week.
