June 15, 2018 This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth specialty cosmetics brand based in Southern California. Alongside the COO, the Operations Specialist will build best-practices and operations processes allowing ILIA to scale and establish its place in the cosmetics market as the leader in natural colored cosmetics. This is a full-time position based in Laguna Beach at our corporate office two blocks from the beach! CORE COMPENTENCIES FORECASTING / DEMAND PLANNING: * Manage the overall order process from forecast to fulfillment * With input from sales, responsible for forecasting finished goods in a rolling 12-month format * Forecasting data with Ilias Sales Team * With an eye on profitability, proactively make recommendations to support sales with efficient inventory management PRODUCTION / PURCHASING: * Recommend and place monthly purchase orders for finished goods and unfinished goods * Prioritize and oversee purchase order and production timelines including component delivery to labs, shipping to/from warehouse, verifying receipt quantities OPERATIONS: * Distributes OS list as needed; coordinates with the ILIA team to ensure they are aware of back in stock dates * Builds and distributes Monthly sales by SKU Report * Foster strong inter-departmental communication practices * Reconciles bi-annual inventory counts and updates internal systems * Update and monitor lab product info, MSDS and batch # logs * Work with operations manager in implementation of all EDI services REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 3-5 years relevant operations experience * Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills * Must be proficient in Excel
