JOB SUMMARY:

Under close supervision, this position will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL:

• Train with all rail operations personnel on all shifts, in order to gain a thorough understanding of intermodal rail operations.

• Work various shifts alongside full-time rail operations personnel, as schedule allows.

• Work on small special projects, as able to be completed during internship.

• Other duties as required.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE CONSIDERED?

• Must be enrolled in a 4-year university degree program, preferably majoring in a transportation-related degree.

OTHER DESIRED SKILLS:

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high momentum environment

• Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills

• Must possess strong computer skills, including typing and Microsoft Office programs

Sunday availability is preferred.
