This position will directly participate in the execution of sales building activities including, but not limited to, staff education, coordination and execution of special events, calling on accounts, supplier interaction, chain program and promotion execution. This position will report directly to the Statewide Beer Division Manager. ***This position will include travel. Job Description: Grow distributor's presence in the market and overall brand recognition of distributor's portfolio of beer brands. Educate sales staff on and directly contribute to the hand selling of distributor's beer brands. Spend at least 80% of time in market. Work with distributor and supplier representatives on "ride-withs" and other sales activities. Make monthly account development calls. Serve as Promotional Manager, overseeing growth and execution of on-site and point-of-sale promotions at accounts. Participate in local festival/special event planning and execution. Work with Statewide Beer Division Manager to develop monthly sales plans and annual business plans to be executed in the market Job Requirements: College Degree or Equivalent Experience Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skill 2 years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry preferred, Previous sales and merchandising experience a plus A passion for beer is required Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification preferred. Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule; including weekends and evenings.
