We are looking for a full-time web developer to take the lead on implementation and troubleshooting on our clients websites. As an SEO Web Developer, youll be tasked with completing consulting projects by pushing our work live on client websites. We currently complete over 50 projects each month and are looking for a developer that is comfortable jumping into multiple website platforms/CMS every day. The ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving and be a confident self-learner. Because we work on existing websites, we often come across issues that impede our ability to implement. Troubleshooting and solving implementation hurdles will be a crucial part of this position. Daily tasks may include: Editing web pages, building new pages, optimizing images, setting up Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools, navigation changes, and more on clients websites. What You Will Love Doing: - Building, editing and optimizing webpages with an SEO focus - Setting up Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools - Implementing SEO deliverables on clients websites - Working on multiple CMS or FTP - Troubleshooting implementation issues - Staying current on SEO and digital marketing industry trends and algorithm development - Exercising discretion and independent judgement when handling matters of significance for the company or its clients To Fit the Bill: - Bachelors degree in related field preferred - 3+ years experience in a related field - Strong knowledge of web technologies and best practices (user experience, information architecture, content, design, analytics). - HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Understanding of SEM, and SEO strategies. - 1+ year track record of working on multiple CMSs and website platforms. - 1+ years experience working on website updates and implementation on multiple platforms such as: - WordPress - Squarespace - Joomla - Wix - Magento - Big Commerce - Shopify - Volusion - Asp.net - Experience optimizing e-commerce websites. - Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager. - Thorough understanding of responsive design - Influential communication style with experience driving results through cross-functional teams. - Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, national company. - Proven ability to manage deadline-driven projects while delivering high quality results on-time. - Strong, confident written and oral communication skills; excellent time management skills. - Able to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders. - Self-starting initiative and a relentless focus on delivering results. - Ability to operate successfully through periods of ambiguity and change - All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
