    Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team at our new facility in Upper Deerfield, NJ. This role is responsible for all customer shipments, internal and external transfers. Manages freight according to the needs of our customers and warehouses, in collaboration with customer service. Records the arrival and departure times of each truck. Ensure the selection of the most reliable carrier at the best cost. Works closely with the warehouse supervisor and the factory purchasing manager. Records and verifies of customer returns in collaboration with warehouse staff. Excellent knowledge of the SAP system is a plus.

    • Assist in supervising the activities of freight to our customers and others
    • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure the excellent service timeline for our customers
    • Prioritizing activities as required to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
    • Work with our warehouses to organize the shipments (appointments and other requirements)
    • Establish the planning shipments for the Warehouse team for the week.
    • Record the times in and out for each truck.
    • Record or establish the claims regarding the carriers if applicable.
    • Ensure all the paperwork is recorded in SAP daily for invoicing process.
    • Ensure that the information to warehouse to prepare the shipments is communicated according to the procedures
    • Print Shipping documentation including BOL, Pick tickets, shipping labels and creates and transmit ASN’s.

    Salary Range: $22 - $24 an hour based on education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma.
    • 3+ years’ experience within a DC or warehouse of comparable size and complexity.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to build mutually supportive relationships with key stakeholders
    • Excellent organizational skills.
