The Marketing & Events Intern will work with our extended Marketing Communications team to help bring to life an exciting experience for our customers at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in September 2024. This hands-on position is ideal for a college student, preferably majoring in Hospitality, Marketing/Communications, or a related creative field. The Intern will assist with promotion and messaging development for the main tradeshow event, planning for a special customer event, and assist with coordination of staff for both activities. The role requires a commitment of at least 15 hours per week at our office in Vernon Hills, IL to collaborate with the team.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Activity & Essential Function Identification ****

• Collaborate with Campaign Coordinator to support creative content copywriting and message development for event promotion.
• Aid in the development of automated email marketing campaigns through our CRM platform to promote the events.
• Collaborate with Event Planner to maintain the event planning and promotion schedule.
• Engage with vendors, establishing and maintaining effective communication.
• Assist with event staff needs such as event registration, housing needs, and staff attire for the event.
• Assist with event platform to deploy and monitor guest registration and checking in process for customer event
