  • Responsibilities

    WR has a need for a Logistician that shall provide a wide range of technical services in support of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines during all phases of life-cycle support of Naval systems.

     

     

    Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Provides high level of expertise in multiple ILS areas for the company. Including the development and maintenance of various documents, including but not limited to LCSPs, CM plans, DMSMS plans, etc. 
    • Including, but not limited to the development and maintenance of various ILS deliverables:
    • PCCNs within ICAPS
    • RCM development and submission of ewaivers
    • MIPs and MRCs
    • Inputting and monitoring BOMs for DMSMS
    • Supporting Technical Manuals in TDMIS
    • Developing workfiles in CDMD-OA
    • Developing and validation ILS Certifications in support of installations
    • Engineering Support Requests (ESRs), formerly DLA-339s

     

     

     

    Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:  

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
    • Current Professional Logistics Certification – i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1, or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional two (2)+ years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
    • Ten (10) + years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 12 years if not DAWIA Level 1 Certified) of electronics systems, to include:
    • logistics management
    • principles
    • practices
    • processes
    • Six (6)+ years of experience in support of C4ISR or Navigation systems.
    • Knowledge of inventory management, and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T).
    • Working knowledge of ICAPS, CDMD-OA, NDE-ILS, PMSMIS, ePMS Gateway, TDMIS, OARS, JETDAS.

     

    Other Requirements:

     

    • Preferred: ICAPS training, CDMD-OA certificate, RCM Level 1 and 2, Microsoft Office
    • Prefer experience as Work Center Supervisor (WCS) and/or Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO) or similar function. 
    • Working knowledge of the Navy 3M system including OMMS-NG/AWN, SKED, and R-Supply.
    • Prefer US Navy Navigation equipment experience.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, at least to intermediate level, with a focus on Word and Excel. PowerPoint and Project experience desired.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with peers, managers, and senior level military personnel.
    • Familiarity with ASD Suite of ILS Specifications S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, S4000P, S5000F, and S6000T.
    • Prefer experience with Navy working groups including the Provisioning Center of Excellence (PCoE) and Engineering Support Request (ESR) Working Group.
    • Prefer RCM Level 1 and 2 Certified (Current).
    • Prefer NSLC CDMD-OA Work File Training completion certificate.
    • Minimal travel may be required.
