More information is available at www.themadisonsquaregardencompany.com Role Summary Under the supervision of the Procurement Director, the Analyst position will support various day to day responsibilities including but not limited to Procure to Pay activities, Production sourcing and F&B purchasing of 3 key MSG facilities in Radio City Music Hall, The Chicago Theatre, and the Beacon Theatre. The Analyst will work with the user departments at each of the venues to develop product specifications, pricing and delivery schedules. Works with the vendors to establish and maintain good working relationships, delivery of high-quality service at competitive prices and terms. Specific Functions/Activities Summary Work with established vendors to confirm prices and delivery date Conduct spend analyses to determine opportunities for strategic purchasing Conduct supplier prequalification and evaluation to identify potential third-party suppliers for bidding processes and/or ensure awarded suppliers are capable of filling present or future needs. Assist in the creation of RFI/RFQ/RFP preparation and evaluation of high/mid dollar agreements. Analyze bids based on a set of criteria. Resolve invoice problems with third-party suppliers and MSG A/P. Assist various users in resolving questions with the Procure to Pay system (Coupa). Create and maintain tools to track realized savings and progress of projects. Maintain document templates (e.g. RFP, Intent to Bid, Supplier Q&A, Supplier Scorecard, etc.) Generate regular and ad hoc data reports. Qualifications BS/BA in Procurement/Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field required. MBA or related professional degree a plus. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement a plus. Knowledge of and technical competence with Procure to Pay systems a plus (e.g. Coupa, SAP/Ariba, Oracle, etc.). Experience working with standard sourcing documents, including RFPs, Supplier Scorecards, Master Agreements for the Purchase of Goods and/or Services, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, SOWs, and NDAs. Ability to perform detailed comparative financial analysis and present findings in logical, concise manner. Must have highly analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to analyze and streamline large, imperfect data sets and complex processes. Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills, with focus on providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships and ongoing engagement with internal customers and colleagues. Dependable, highly motivated, proactive self-starter who is able to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward to completion with minimal supervision. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Windows 10, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Education Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
