Manager II, Distribution Operations
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the position is responsible for the oversight of a single and/or multiple sites/ fleets, warehouse personnel, or non-J.B. Hunt assets, with one or more managers, including operational personnel (drivers, contractors, office, and/or warehouse employees.) This position optimizes the company's assets by monitoring revenue and costs through effective P&L analysis and builds and maintains customer satisfaction through problem solving, communication and relationship building. The position may be located on site at the customer's facility. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts.

Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma with 3-5 years of Transportation/Logistics experience and/or 3-5 years of supervisory experience; ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or related fields with 1 year of relevant professional experience or 2-4 years of experience with J.B. Hunt or in the Transportation/Logistics industry with 3-5 years of supervisory experience

Understanding of the resources required to achieve business objectives and ability to plan, mobilize and distribute resources to fulfill business objectives and plans.

Bachelors: Business Administration/Management, Bachelors: Finance, Bachelors: Supply Chain Management, GED (Required), High School (Required)
