SUMMARY: The EH&S Intern will provide administrative support to the
Corporate EH&S Team and assist with data analysis projects. This
internship will provide an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals
of various EH&S, topics, incidents driving the businsess and improvement
opportunities. Responsible for a variety of projects designed to be
completed. Gain knowledge of and interact with Operational EH&S Team
Members and other business professionals throughout the internship. Job
Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support day-to-day operations
of the Corporate EH&S Department by reviewing incident data and
identifying associated trends, incident type, department, seniority,
etc. * Gain exposure to various EH&S policies through review, completion
of various compliance initiatives * Provides additional administrative
task support to Operations as needed * Providing assistance with special
projects as needed. * Additional duties are assigned. PHYSICAL
ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. * Regularly/Occasionally lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Ability to work in an industrial setting
when required, including wearing / use specific PPE related to the job
task, eye & face protection, hearing protection, respiratory protection,
safety toe shoes * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable
individuals to perform the essential functions. Qualifications /
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: * Current enrollment in graduate or
undergraduate degree program in an Engineering, EH&S or Analyst related
field at a recognized college or university * High degree of proficiency
MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications * Ability to maintain
confidentiality and be discrete while accompanying sensitive information
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving,
presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to
completion), & planning skills * Strong verbal and written communication
skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) * Solid
understanding and application of mathematical concepts * Ability to
develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and
colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external
clients * Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a
fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Self-motivated with
critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting * Ability to add,
subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to compute rate,
ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. * Ability to
read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence,
and memos * Ability to work overtime as necessary * Must have current
