Position Overview

Maxway is currently seeking a Class A CDL Driver, who is HOME DAILY , driving as a contractor for the U.S Post Office. We offer drivers:

Schedule:

• Night Shift with short layover in SLC.
• Thursday, Friday, and every other Wednesday off

Qualifications:

• Commercial drivers with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply immediately:
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Current DOT Medical card
• Clean MVR
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to pass USPS background check

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Post and pre-trip inspections
• Safely maneuver vehicles at all times, obeying traffic laws and road conditions.
• Ability to safely maneuver truck into loading and unloading position.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid etc.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper equipment as provided and or needed.
• Plan and/or adjust route based on changes or conditions.
• Communicate effectively with others including but not limited to co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and or customers.
