• SHIFT: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)

MESILLA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION IS HIRING AN ORIENTATION INSTRUCTOR IN NASHVILLE, TN!

The ORIENTATION INSTRUCTOR is key in the development of all new drivers, re-hires, and current MVT drivers.

** WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC TEAM PLAYER WHO HAS EXPERIENCE TEACHING AND/ OR COACHING.**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach the created content to new and existing drivers.
• Work with the orientation team to create and update material while staying up to date with DOT rules and regulations & MVT policies and procedures.
• Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within the organization.
• Select & develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
• Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
• Keep a record of all testing for drivers and re-hires.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to three years in the transportation industry or anything related to the transportation industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Required).
• Knowledge of AS400 & electronic logging devices (Preferred).
