JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain schedules, prepare and record journal entries to ensure accuracy

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions

• Perform Bank Reconciliations

• Assist with Accounts Payable data entry and research.

• Assist with Drive Away Daily Payroll and reconciliations

• Coordinate accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team or with other departments

• Knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP

• Support month-end and year-end close process

• Highly detail-oriented and organized

• Regular and consistent attendance

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office, High Level Excel Experience

• Familiarity with accounting software and programs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting requested

• 2 years plus related experience required

• Must have a valid driver’s license
