JOB DESCRIPTION:   

Midwest Drive Away LLC is hiring a Driver Coordinator/Dispatcher for a fast paced, high energy environment. This person has great opportunity for increased pay with proven performance in a growing company.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive Inbound Driver Calls and Email
• Assign drivers to available loads with good knowledge of being able to keep the driver moving to their next load with minimal down time.
• Communicate with Drivers throughout the delivery process to ensure they are meeting the required deadlines.
• Work together with management and other colleagues to ensure that trucks are in the meeting deadlines and are delivered to the correct locations.
• Support and build relationships with drivers to grow business and keep all parties content during the process.
• Keep focused and work in a fast-paced environment to cover as many loads as possible as needed.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Must have good customer relations and communication skills
• Must have accurate data entry skills and the ability to multi-task 
• Excellent attendance record and reliable transportation  
• Must have the ability to work independently and maintain productivity
• Problem-solving skills are a must
• Must have the ability excel in a fast-paced environment
• Must have computer skills: MS Office, Internet, Email communication, and ability to learn new systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Broker/Dispatch Experience required
• Customer Service Experience a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
