MSA Security is the largest private provider of single purpose, single handler Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) services in the United States with EDC assets deployed worldwide. The HR Intern would collaborate with members of the HR team and serve as the point person for the editing and publishing of HR documentation. The ideal candidate should be an effective business writer and editor with an emerging HR foundation of knowledge, ready for a hands on opportunity. Job Responsibilities * Collaborating with members of the HR team to pull together content * Writing content where needed * Researching content and providing suggestions * Editing and updating existing content and/or content submitted by others * Ensuring proper version control * Serving as a back-up and overflow support for other HR functions * Assisting the VP, HR and other HR team member with on-going programs and projects Qualifications * A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a relative field completed or in process of completion * Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to audience, grammar, voice, and content * Prior related experience is desirable * Knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, SERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.) as well as rules around HIPAA a plus * Ability to work independently and stay focused and on task * Verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Organized and detail oriented * Ability to deal with confidential information Candidates selected for interviews will be expected to provide writing samples and/or may be asked to demonstrate ability via a simulated writing/editing assignment For more information about personal rights under Equal Employment Opportunity, visit: EEOC Poster EEOC GINA Supplement MSA Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories 8 hours ago - save job - original job
