Job Description Are you looking for a career in plant operations or perhaps the mechanical maintenance team* The Set-Up role is perfect exposure to both paths! Encapsulation refers to a range of dosage forms techniques used to enclose vitamins & supplements in a shell known as a capsule, allowing them, for example, to be taken orally by our consumers. The Encapsulation Set-Up Associate is responsible for all assembly/disassembly, maintenance and operation of various encapsulation machines. Additional responsibilities include: * Maintains the working condition of various encapsulation machines * Initiates a production run, following the completion of the set-up process * Maintains log books with accurate current information * Enters start up and in-process information into the batch record * Operates the encapsulation machines based on the business demand * Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect, assuring the quality and quantity of product produced Note: This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity. Hours are 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday. There is a Shift differential for this role. Qualifications * Must have prior mechanical or manufacturing machine operator experience * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * Military experience a plus * Basic mathematical skills * Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions * Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc., within a manufacturing environment Additional Information The Nature's Bounty Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
